ABOUT ME

I offer a warm, supportive, confidential setting in which you can talk about emotional difficulties which may be troubling you at home, at work, or in your relationship. I have been working as a psychotherapist for fifteen years, meeting men and women of all ages, with different beliefs, sexual orientations, and occupational status.

People come to psychotherapy from a range of backgrounds. Terms to describe the range of difference include: ethnic, religious or spiritual, gender and sexuality, occupational and health status, family membership, emotional expressiveness.

I have a thriving private practice working with couples and individuals. I trained as a relationship counsellor with Relate (UK).

My training and qualifications as a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor are from Goldsmiths, University of London, Institute of Group Analysis (London) and the Anna Freud Centre.

I am a full clinical member of the UKCP. I worked as a specialist psychotherapist in the NHS for ten years, working with both groups and individuals.

I am a graduate in English Literature, and keep a daily blog which echos my love of London and its cultural offerings, and also reflects my current reading, which is naturally related. You will find a link to this above.

As part of the joint creative process, and as the therapeutic relationship develops, I sometimes offer a reference from the arts as a stimulus to reflection.
